English

Welcome to my cubing blog freshcuber.wordpress.com. My name is Roland Frisch, and the german word „frisch“ means fresh. That’s why I am known as Roland the FreshCuber.

Usually I write my articles in German, but sometimes it happens that I want to link to an article in my blog in an english speaking forum. This side is only a quick guide how to switch the language to English or to whatever language you prefer.

As you see at the first two pictures, the right column of my blog has a Service area where you find a Google translate widget. On smaller displays like smartphone screens you will find the service area below the article and the comments.

This translation feature works on ALL articles and pages. But for the most relevant articles I have prepared the following list so that you can find these articles easier. First I link the original (german) version that you can translate like mentioned above. And second I added a direct link to the Google website translate service:

  1. 3×3-Zauberwürfel lösen | Solve 3×3 Rubik’s Cube
This page contains links to the famous FreshCuber Beginner’s Solution, speedcubing with CFOP, rotating centers and much more.
  2. Zauberwürfel-Lösungen | Twisty Puzzle Solutions
Here you find my tutorials for many other cubes, like 2×2, 4×4 and 5×5, Megaminx, Cuboids, Clock, FTO, Klotski Cubes, Nintendo Barrel…
  3. Zauberwürfel-Notation | Cube notation
    What does F R U R‘ U‘ F‘ mean? Or E S M and x y z? Here you find the answers.
  4. Unlösbaren 3×3-Würfel öffnen und korrigieren | Open and correct an unsolvable 3×3 cube
This article helps you if you run into ‚unsolvable‘ problems like a single flipped edge, a single corner twist or only two swapped pieces.
  5. Parity entmystifziert | Parity demystified
Here you find much about bigcube parity: 2 types of parity, edge pairing or parity, which orientation parity algs and which PLL parity algs?, edge parity and OLL parity.
And also sections about 3×3 parity on shapemods and stickermods, 3×3 void cube parity and parity on other twisty puzzles.

This is my list for now. But don’t forget to check out also the other articles. I explain much with text and photos which makes automatic translation quite easy (for Google). So I wish you a great time here. Otherwise you might miss cool things like Blanker Cube and Blunter Cube, Checkerboard-4×4 and much more nice cubing stuff.

And maybe you will also like our community blog project 🔹cubingfreunde.wordpress.com that we run as a team of cubers. I’m sure you will be able to find the Google Translate widget in the right column of each article.
